Our Team

 

Energy Audits Ltd.'s principals have focused full-time on Maine building owners' energy retrofit needs since 2010.  But we've worked closely with Maine housing stock, building owners, contractors, and government housing agencies in Maine for decades.

 

After college and work on Wall Street, our managing director returned to Maine.  He earned a Certified Property Management (CPM) designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM); launched a property management company (which became certified as an IREM Accredited Management Organization, or AMO); and began developing multifamily housing to help accommodate Maine's shifting demographics.

 

While parts of the state certainly would benefit from new housing, many existing buildings simply need the right mix of energy conservation measures to continue bringing great value.  Energy Audits Ltd. was launched to assist owners of these buildings.  

 

Energy Audits Ltd. has grown, but our mission has remained unchanged: To provide conflict-free building performance consulting, to help building owners understand their options, and to help them implement energy improvements safely and effciently.  

 

All of our auditors hold Building Performance Institute (BPI) Analyst certifications, possess years energy retrofit consulting experience, and regularly update their knowledge base as new technologies and methods emerge.
